Time is a lot like this:

Just one straight line. There are no cycles. There is nothing, except moving forward. So really... days and months and years don't exist if you think about it? If in a couple of months time it took the Earth 10 extra days to do a full orbit of the sun or if it took ad additional 2 hours to do a full rotation, then that would throw our entire time system into chaos would it not? Days aren't the same, thus months aren't the same, thus years. So a year now isn't the same as a year then? Pure chaos!
Am I drunk? No, maybe slightly tipsy but.....

When you get to the point where the pic is attached, go to "advanced" and then "preview post"
In the preview section you should be able to right click the image and then copy the link.
Then back down on the post editing window click the tree, select from "URL", paste the link and untick the blue box.
That should get you posted to full size (though you will have the attachment shown as well).
Mascal was actually the first I saw use this method and I thought it was rather clever.
If you have the link for the image from the start you can skip the first 2 parts.
I think LDM had a post not too long ago with step by step instructions for the image posting.
Multi-quoting is the button to the right of "reply with quote" (💬+)
If you click it then it changes to (💬 ✔️)
After you select a few posts click "respond to thread" and the selected posts will be quoted (in order of selection, not by date or time).
